The light pollution and waxing gibbous moon made it very tricky to capture anything within the limited field of view from a hotel balcony facing south.
I attempted to capture M8 – Lagoon Nebula 3 days ago but as it was too close to the moon and too low in the sky the light pollution made it almost impossible to get any nice image.
Hence I turned to scope towards the waxing gibbous moon to capture something and save the session:

No matter how many times you take a close look at our moon, it always stays a magnificent sky object to look at!
Tomorrow, 9th of August, will be full moon! Let’s seen how detailed we can get it on file tomorrow!
